During the interactive session, we go on an imaginary space trip with the supersonic spaceships of Space War. During our journey, we meet the pixel characters of the Commodore 64 and “feed” the ever-hungry figure of Pac-Man, while also visiting the virtual spaces of contemporary media artists. During the space trip, the students connect not only to the material of the exhibition, but also to the theme of the game through creative tasks.
The session will guide you through the material of the C3 Foundation’s 20th free-range computer competition announced in 2022 and the exhibition celebrating the anniversary. In the C3 competition, participants under the age of 19 could apply with any self-made project created with a computer or digital device, and the fresh and original results of free experimentation and individual creativity, while the anniversary exhibition revolves around the concept of play.
