Through the lens of contemporary Hungarian children’s book illustration, this exhibition celebrates the 75th anniversary of Greater Budapest. The city’s many faces unfold through the works of the country’s finest illustrators – from the historic downtown to the modern housing estates – offering glimpses even into those spaces where real environments take on a touch of magic. Complementing the artists’ works are the finest entries from a drawing competition inspired by the same theme, creating a dialogue between professional artistry and youthful imagination.
