The group exhibition made up of student works, focusing on the project-based anatomy training of painter and university lecturer Dániel Horváth, will soon end. We can see this course as a 21st-century addition to Jenő Barcsay’s long-standing, drawing-based art anatomy education, which he taught at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and the Institute of Fine Arts and Art Theory of Eszterházy Károly Catholic University between 2014 and 2021.
As the finale of the exhibition, we will organize a round-table discussion with the participation of curator Dániel Horváth, painter, university assistant professor, esthete Gerda Széplaky, and some of the creative university students featured in the exhibition. The discussion will be moderated by art historian Gréta Garami.
After the talk, those present can watch a dance show called Eleven body. The dancers of the Performing Arts Training Program of ZéróPlusz TáncMűvek enter the special space of the exhibition to reflect on the exhibited works with the art of movement and present their own live body images to the audience. Creators, speakers: Sára Csaba, Alma Szűcs, Marina Escalera Zamudio (MX). Process assistant: Gyula Berger, choreographer.
Participation in the program does not require registration. The event will be broadcast live on the Gallery’s Facebook page. Those appearing at the event can also take one item from our exhibition-related catalog free of charge.
During the closing ceremony, we will also celebrate the approaching holidays and the 8th birthday of Deák17 Gallery, so after the talk we invite everyone to a toast and a slice of cake.
From 6:30 p.m., we will also hold a Christmas tree decoration workshop, where those interested can work with UV paint under the guidance of painter Veronika Zelena. The number of seats at the workshop is limited (10 people) and registration is required.
We look forward to seeing you!
