Attila JÁGER is a passionate skateboarder and comic book artist. In the course of his cultural mission, these two fringe genres interact, offering each other themes and surfaces. In his works on skateboards, he incorporates scuffs, scratches and even fractures, as seen in his series entitled My Mythology.
Most of his graphics are black and white, but he also colors them digitally. He has also worked with 3D models and graphics. His meticulously executed pen drawings are strange and dreamlike and exhibit horror vacui. His surreal works feature recurring characters from his personal mythology: his baghead character, cyclops girls, various forms of spiders and organic, tissue-like surfaces.
But his imagination does not stop there as his pen brings more and more frightening or funny creatures to life. He has expanded his Lowbrow Bestiary with his Skateboard Symbiote and Baby Balaton Beast (made together with the creators of the comic Allstar).
