Pop Surrealism and Subcultures in Contemporary Hungarian Art

The group exhibition of contemporary Hungarian visual and applied artists from the peripheries as well as the prominent creative hubs of the art world explores the transgressions and dialogues within the Hungarian art scene. Their works, imbued with humour, irony, nostalgia, and a touch of surrealism, are presented on both traditional and progressive media and are inspired by pop- and subcultural aesthetics.
