Children Around the World – Jubilee Edition

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Children Around the World family event series

2025.11.22. – 09:30

The Children Around the World family event series was launched in the autumn of 2015 and has since become one of our gallery’s most beloved events, attracting numerous families month after month. Over the years, we have introduced nearly fifty countries and collaborated with a wide range of partners – embassies, cultural institutes, and schools alike.

Today’s event is not about exploring a new destination but marking a special milestone: together with our guests, we celebrate the tenth birthday of the Children Around the World series. For this festive occasion, we are delighted to welcome Danny Bain with his award-winning musical puppet show Kodzsugukila, the Witch.

Danny himself embodies the spirit of world travel – having lived in Hungary since 2010, he tells stories both in Hungarian and through the universal language of music. This time, he will share an African tale, the story of Kalili and Szandzsi, accompanied by his unique instruments.

The performance, recommended for children aged 3–10, will be followed by a birthday cake celebration and our usual creative workshops.
