From the Incas to Paddington – Adventures in Peru

Children Around the World's October stop is Peru

2025.10.25. – 09:30

Dear Children Around the World,
We invite you to join us for a special morning spent exploring one of South America’s most diverse countries: Peru. From the heights of the Andes to the lush Amazon rainforest and the shores of the Pacific Ocean, Peru is home to an incredible variety of landscapes, animals, and plants. Its cultural heritage is equally rich — shaped by the ancient Inca Empire, indigenous peoples, and Spanish Christian conquerors alike.
And we haven’t even mentioned Paddington yet! You’ll meet him, too, during this exciting morning, which will be made even more memorable by a performance from the Sonqoy Tusuy Peruvian dance ensemble following our country presentation.

Programme:
from 9:30 – Arrival, registration, and a shared creative activity
10:00-10:20 – Interactive presentation about Peru
10:20-10:40 – Performance of traditional Peruvian dances by the Sonqoy Tusuy ensemble
10:40-10:50 – Tasting of Peruvian delicacies
10:50-12:30 – Themed arts and crafts workshops inspired by Peru

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
