Dear Children Around the World!
We won’t be going too far this time, as we will be visiting the Czech Republic in connection with our current exhibition. You’ll get a glimpse of the richness of Czech culture and nature, and a taste of the Czechs’ passion for hiking.
Our accompanying programme will bring to life stories and characters from Czech children’s books in the children’s songs of János Bárth. Audiences will sing and dance their way to the brave pelican, the colourful parrotfish, the sleepy sea otter, the industrious bees and the curious mouse. Books will be available for purchase on site, courtesy of Chirimojó Publishing.
Programme:
from 9:30 – Arrival, registration, creative activities
10:00-10:20 – Interactive presentation about the Czech Republic
10:20-10:40 – Musical literary children’s show by János Bárth
10:50-12:30 – Crafts activities related to the Czech Republic
The event will be streamed online on our Facebook page and will be accompanied by video and photos, which will be posted on the Gallery’s and the partner institution’s website and other social media platforms. By participating in the programme, you agree that recordings may be made and used.
