Jaschik Selfie

2018.01.17. – 2018.03.03.

Selfie is the most commonly used pictorial genre of social media. It is a self-portrait photo that usually shows a special event, a venue, a famous building or even an artwork. But our eyes are not focusing on the landscape, the building or on the artwork, rather on ourselves, the ego. Therefore selfies can be seen as tools of identity-searching, as instruments of expressing “Who am I”. The exhibition presents the works of Jaschik Álmos Art School-students.

The exhibition was organized in cooperation with Jaschik Álmos Art School.
